- Specializing in small landscapes, I travel and paint and paint to travel. And I take lots of photos on which I base my work. The world is full of picturesque vignettes. I capture these scenes on my canvases (8"x10" or 9"x12"). My medium is oil.
I simplify the subject matter working with light,shadow and color. Usually I include an architectural feature as well as signs of life in my work.
As a trained artist, I have studied art in college, the Art Students League in New York City, the Scottsdale (Az) Artist School and various workshops.
I am a member of the Scottsdale Artists League.
